i am going to greece, need tips

my mom and i will be in athens in may, can anyone offer tips on what we should see, do, etc. we won't be there for very long.

    When in Athens it would be nice to see Acropolis, Lycabettus hill (from there all Athens will be at your feet), Plaka (old city), Cape Sounion ... If apart of sight seeing you want shopping then Kolonaki and Ermou areas are nice but expensive, while in the suburbs you can have better deals ... You may have lunch by the sea (i.e. near Micromilano or Kastella or Varkiza with many fish restaurants) ... Please ask me more in relation with your personal taste and what you want to find here ...
